Keep up to date with the latest society and industry news
At Swansea Building Society, we support a wide range of local charities and every year, staff nominate a staff charity and undertake a range of fund-raising activities where the Society will match fund the amounts raised.
The Society recognises that its staff are vital to its success. We're always looking for talented professionals with the determination to help us succeed.
From time to time, vacancies may arise in one of our branch offices (Swansea, Mumbles, Carmarthen and Cowbridge) or in one of our Head Office departments (Mortgage Underwriting, HR, Risk & Compliance, IT and Finance)
The Society's financial and AGM results can be downloaded on the right. The latest addition to our publications is the Society's Pillar 3 Disclosure Document which is a requirement of the legislative framework - Capital Requirements Directive.
The document covers such areas as capital, risk exposures and risk assessment processes. The report will be made on an annual basis and published within four months of the Society's year end accounting reference date of 31 December.

Our Ethics Policy outlines how our values and ethics shape our organisation and the way we work.
As a mutual organisation, the Society was established in 1923 to deliver a positive social impact by helping working people to save, and by pooling these savings together, to buy a home of their own. Throughout this time, we have been committed to doing the right thing for our customers, colleagues, and our wider community.
At Swansea Building Society we value people from all backgrounds and recognise the importance of diversity and inclusion.
We’re better equipped to put our members first if we have a diverse workforce of talented people that’s representative of the communities we live and work in.
