    Pay into your savings account

    There are three ways you can make a payment into your Swansea Building Society savings account:

    1 Cash – you can pay cash into your account at any of our branch offices.


    2 Cheque - you can pay a cheque(s) into your account at any of our branch offices.


    3 Standing order / electronic payment – you can pay into your account regularly via a standing order or via a one-off payment electronically from a UK Bank or Building Society account.

    How to withdraw monies / fraud prevention

    Customers must first register a maximum of one nominated bank account per customer and the bank account nominated must be in the name of the Society savings account holder(s). An up to date bank statement detailing the nominated bank account is required before the nominated bank account can be registered to receive payments.

    MyAccounts Is Here – Action Required for Swansea Online Users

    We have upgraded our online banking service, replacing Swansea Online with MyAccounts. While Swansea Online is still accessible, it will be fully withdrawn in 2025. 

    To ensure uninterrupted access to online banking, Swansea Online users must register for MyAccounts. We encourage you to make the switch as soon as possible. See below for more information.

    Swansea Building Society does not currently have an on-line facility for the submission of applications.

    If you wish to apply for a mortgage with the Society, we can either complete the application form on a face to face basis or via the telephone.

    To arrange an appointment, please contact your local mortgage manager today for more information.

    Would you like one of our front-line mortgage managers to call you back to discuss a case? 

    Our mortgage managers are available 9am* to 5pm, Monday to Friday and by appointment on Saturdays. 

    We will call you back during this time. Unfortunately, we are closed on Sundays and bank holidays.  

    All call backs are free of charge to both land lines and mobiles.

    The Society's financial and AGM results can be downloaded on the right. The latest addition to our publications is the Society's Pillar 3 Disclosure Document which is a requirement of the legislative framework - Capital Requirements Directive.

    The document covers such areas as capital, risk exposures and risk assessment processes. The report will be made on an annual basis and published within four months of the Society's year end accounting reference date of 31 December.
