How to pay into your savings account

How to make a payment into your Swansea Building Society savings account.
 
There are three ways you can make a payment into your Swansea Building Society savings account:
 
1    Cash – you can pay cash into your account at any of our branch offices. Please bring with you your passbook or your account details to allow us to credit your account. Please note that the maximum that can be paid in by cash across all savings accounts held per customer per working day is £3k. We strongly recommend that you do not send cash through the post.
 
   Cheque - you can pay a cheque(s) into your account at any of our branch offices. Please bring with you your passbook or your account details to allow us to credit your account. Alternatively, you can send to one of our branch offices your passbook/account details along with the cheque(s) to be deposited and we will credit your account(s). We will send you your updated passbook/a receipt (if no passbook received) once we have deposited the cheque(s) into your account. 
 
3    Standing order / electronic payment – you can pay into your account regularly via a standing order or via a one-off payment electronically from a UK Bank or Building Society account. To enable this to happen, you will need to quote the following account information relating to the Swansea Building Society savings account you wish to pay into:

Sort code:  23 – 65 – 32
Account number:  0 0 0 __   __   __   __   __  
(for example, if your account number is 56.01.12345.00 then you add the numbers 12345 to 000 to quote 00012345.

Reference:  Please quote your full account number with no spaces or full stops. For example 56011234500
 
If paying into a Regular Monthly Saver account please set up payments between the 2nd and 26th of the calendar month.
Please note that with effect from 1st January, 2022, we are now able to instruct your bank/building society to make a regular payment into your Regular Monthly Saver. Please contact your local branch for more information – contact us. Please note that we are unable to instruct your bank/building society to make a one off payment.
