It is with great sadness we announce that Debbie Thomas, a mortgage administrator based in our Head Office, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on Wednesday 14th February 2024.
Debbie joined Swansea Building Society in 2000 after having a successful career with Barclays. She was a key part of the mortgage administration team, particularly dealing with arrears, and was immensely proud of the low numbers of customers in arrears she helped to maintain.
During her time with us, Debbie made a significant contribution to the success of the Society, and she will be sorely missed. We have not just lost a trusted colleague but a very good friend.
