Swansea Building Society to host networking event for financial and legal professionals

We are to host our first-ever networking seminar event aimed at financial and legal professionals in the South East Wales and border regions.

The event will take place at the Holiday Inn in Coldra, Newport on June 16, and is our first-ever such meeting in the region, inviting mortgage brokers, IFA, property professionals, accountants, and solicitors working in South East Wales or surrounding Welsh border area to attend.

We hope this will be the first of many similar events, where professionals working in related fields can meet up, discuss issues, and discover the range of savings and mortgage products which can be made available to their clients.

To start the event, our Chief Executive, Alun Williams, will give an update on how the Society is performing in the current climate, as well as the latest initiatives we are working on. There will also be a Q&A opportunity, where attendees will have the chance to ask the Chief Executive any questions they may have.

A presentation of the products the Society offers will then be given by Richard Miles, our East Wales Area Manager and Head of Savings & Marketing. Using real examples of cases completed by the Society in the last 12 months, the presentation will show how the Society can benefit its stakeholders and clients.

Also in attendance will be our South East Wales Mortgage team – Dan Goulding, Martin Lewis and David Osterland – who will be available to chat and answer questions following the presentation.

The event will begin at 8:30 am and is set to finish by 10:30 am, with breakfast and free parking provided for all attendees.
