With our First Adult Saver account, you simply have to inform us 7 days in advance when you wish to access your savings and there is no limit to the number of withdrawals you can make.

Who is eligible for a First Adult Saver account?

To open a First Adult Saver Account with Swansea Building Society, you must be a UK resident and aged between 18 and 40.

What is the interest rate?

0.90% GROSS / AER (variable) on balances of £1 or more- from 01.03.2022

Interest is calculated daily and added to the account half yearly on June 30th and December 31st.

What might the foreseeable future balance be?

For example, if you deposit £1,000.00 when you open the account, after 12 months you're going to have a balance of £1,009.00.

Assumptions

  • The interest rate remains the same for 12 months
  • You don't deposit additional funds following the initial deposit
  • You do not withdraw any money or interest.
