Our Chief Executive, Alun Williams, was the guest speaker at Swansea Bay Business Club’s prestigious September Lunch, held before a record audience of 165 attendees – the Club’s highest turnout for the event to date.
During his address, Alun reflected on his remarkable 40-year career in banking, including over two decades at the helm of Swansea Building Society. Under Alun’s leadership, Swansea Building Society has achieved significant and consistent expansion, with assets, savings, and mortgage balances all reaching record levels in recent years. His stewardship has not only strengthened the Society’s financial position but also reinforced its reputation for exceptional service, local decision-making, and community engagement across South and West Wales.
