When you contact us, make an application or open an account with the Society, we will need to collect personal information about you and your financial situation and we may keep a record of correspondence with you.  We will explain to you how we use this information.  When you e-mail us through our website, we collect some personal details like your name, address and telephone number to contact you to respond to your enquiry.  We may also collect and process details of transactions you carry out through our site, visits to our site and the resources that you access.  We might use this information to contact you about other products and services that may be of interest, unless you ask us not to do so.  We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

The information you provide the Society will be held on our computers in Swansea and may be accessed by or given to third parties who act for us for the purposes set out in this policy or for other purposes approved by you.  Those parties process credit checks and provide support services on our behalf.
If the Society enters into a joint venture with, or is sold or merged with another business, your information may be disclosed to our new business partners or owners. Security and data retention
